Cancelled: Journeys in the Rural Andes

Dr. Susan Kalt of Boston is coming into town to give a presentation about her travels to the Andes in Bolivia, and her involvement in recording and preserving the endangered language of the farmers and shepherds there, and how learning someone's language helps you learn a lot of other stuff. Besides slides and discussion, she will have a show and tell, and we will also have Andean food—sort of a light supper. Suggested donation: $10.
