Carol Ganci’s Paintings on Glass

Artist Carol Ganci is displaying her paintings on glass at the library until May 20.

Carol Fitzgerald Ganci is a longtime resident of New Hartford, Connecticut and Provincetown, MA. She has spent years exploring different art forms such as stained glass, acrylic painting, wood designs, photography, textile art and her latest venture, creating abstract art with alcohol inks on glass, tiles and cards.

Since retiring from corporate life, Carol has spent her time creating art as well as volunteering in the New Hartford school system working with children in a poetry group. She hopes that you will find a piece or two that will be pleasing to your eye, your heart and your soul! She creates these works of art using alcohol inks—an acid-free, highly pigmented, fast-drying medium used on nonporous surfaces, such as glass, metal, ceramics, and glossy cardstock.
